United Autosports has announced their overall plans for the 2024 season.
The British-American team has been a part of the FIA World Endurance Championship for the past many seasons in the LMP2 category, but that category will disappear after the 2023 season, so their focus moves towards a full IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship campaign.
They have only done selected races so far, including the Daytona 24 Hours and Sebring 12 Hours, but now they want to compete at all the rounds, that LMP2 cars are present at.

The team will however still stick to ACO racing.
They will continue to compete in the European Le Mans Series, and plans to run the Asian Le Mans Series too with both LMP2 and LMP3 material.
A Hypercar programme has somehow not been secured just yet. They have been close to making a deal, before that manufacturer went with another team. Some of it might also be, that some are expected a McLaren Hypercar programme to appear, with Zak Brown being involved in both UA and McLaren. But that is still not quite ready – if ever – so the team is on a bit of a holding pattern at the moment, still wanting to race sportscars, and to stay sharp, if the opportunity arrives.
They are trying to claim their second 24 Hours of Le Mans victory this weekend, to add to their already impressive CV with Championship titles and victories all around the world.
